Which is the most important programming language for programmers to learn nowadays, C or C++ or JAVA or linux or PHP or c#..????

i m confused... which language I opt after learning C and C++...help me

It depends entirely on what you want to do. In webdevelopment your C++ skills won't get you too far and similarly if you are doing embedded stuff you will never need to code Javascript, ever. If you are working in a Microsoft environment, chances are you'll need C#... If you have a good grasp on C++, Java and PHP and C# should be easy mode, though.

If you know a couple of languages and are just looking to improve as a programmer, I recommend taking a look at Haskell at some point. It's a completely different beast and it really helped my understanding, even for writing C++ code!
