Am thinking about creating a new speech recognition app which is different from all current apps....every suggestion is welcome

Write a sign language translator. No, not just sign language to speech and vice versa, that's already there.

A sign-language-to-sign-language would be a daunting task, I guess. ASL to LSF, for example...

Put ADs in your app, but instead of keeping the revenue, give it back to the people that use your app. So people get paid to use your app. :) That's different.
