Hey guys, i'm new here and i have a questions regarding android development and others related to it.

Question

Ok, so i have a new device which is "smart feature phone" and it's running "stripped" version of android, it's mocordroid 4.4.4. Ok, so i've been trying to crack this phone up so it can install apk files which is not available by default, i've been able to enable usb debugging, and i'm trying to install apk files from adb with adb install but no luck, it always ended up with INSTALL_FAILED_USER_RESTRICTED, so i've been guessing this has some problems on permissions, so can you guys help me out with this?

bootloader is locked by default. try odin for your phone brand

Yes, i do think the same, but how can i root the device which is only has limited function in recovery and locked bootloader? i believe there is something i can do without rooting the device, just something related to permissions maybe? so, have any idea how can i solve this INSTALL_FAILED_USER_RESTRICTED issue? i have found something, i've tried to grant and enable INSTALL_PACKAGES on PackageInstaller, but it's strange, even when i does that the state is always disabled. So, i'm guessing there is something about "user" area that need to be enabled first via adb or something.

Nah, this is not Samsung device Bro, this is just some unknown China Branded device, also it use China manufactured Chipset, it's Spreadtrum SC9820, dual core processor with 4G enabled, it's very cheap and has many great features. In fact, i saw some potentials in this device that's why i'm trying to crack it up, would be very handy to have a feature phone with fully functional android features, it could be a good secondary phone. Oh yeah, anyway it has exactly the same specification like Jio Phone, also almost the same with Lava Connect M1 4G.
