Yes, it is, and is a time of glory of bitcoin. Bu there are two problems.
The first , the bitcoin is not standard accepted over the whole economy.
This means, way of using bitcoin for businness transcaction
1)get money from own providers,
2) change this currency into bitcoin
3´) send as bitcoin,
4) on the other side change bitcoin into currency
5 pay other providers
The second problem, quick large changes of bitcoin curse. This is not good for standard economy, more for speculations
