It really doesn't matter ,but windows has visual studio which runs c# c and c++ on multiple platforms.
Mac runs Xcode which runs apples swift.
Mac also is easier to download things such as a virtual box and any other thing you need.

I have a windows it works ok but if I want something that is not Python or visual studios then I have to set up a virtual box.

It is really not much different.Its just what your going to program that's all.
