I want to learn how to make a volume slider.

Question

I'm kinda new to js but I need to learn how to make a volume slider. I can kinda read the code but when it comes to writing it, that's a different story. I pretty much hand code everything so I don't wanna just copy and paste something or use a jplayer. Any guidance would be appreciated.

I forgot....i have code on my profile of the player i have coded so far...its a start but i have a long way to go.
