I am not the best in maths, not very horrid either, but lower than the average
I've always been thinking to improve my maths, but schools and books didn't do the job because I get bored too fast. The only thing I don't get bored with is coding and gaming, so I thought what if coding a program that solves mathematical problems will help me understand maths better. My question is : do I need to learn maths to be a good programmer? Thank you in advance

Short answer: Yes and no.
Longer answer: Math will never cause you any damage, it might only help. It might help you with improvement of your logical thinking and problem solving abillities. Yet it is not required many great programmers are living without it and they are doing just about right. But as I earlier mentioned it won't harm you if you will not learn it.

No, you don't need to learn maths to be a programmer. ("good" is relative here).
You probably learn maths by programming, only at a slower rate.

yes..but there is no need of hardcore mathematics for programming. just try to improve logical thinking and practice very basic math.
