Why people keep talking about C when they got C++ ?

isn't C++ better than C?

No more than a hammer is better than a chainsaw or a chainsaw is better than a hammer. The tools you utilize is best assessed by the task you're trying to accomplish. They're all useful in their own right, and even though you may prefer one over another, they're not better or worse than each other. If you need to cut down a tree, use the chainsaw and if you need to hammer a nail, use the hammer. Anyways, to sum up my point, C and C++ are both good in their own respective right. I find it's better to ask how I can use a tool for a task than it is for me to compare the tools against each other; I prefer having all of them on my tool belt.
