What's better, C or C++?

I wanna learn another lenguaje but I need the most effective between those two. If you can help me out, I'll appreciate it.

If you are actually interested, learn both. C is not entirely just a subset of C++, but C++ has backwards compatibility. It's hard to judge in terms of "effectiveness" without being given a specification as to what the field of expertise does this effectiveness apply on.

I think it is C++ because C++ has better libraries than C

C++ is the best of the two; it has much more capability such as classes and overloading, without compromising it's [C's] integrity.
