What is the difference between Information Technology and Computer Science?

information technology is basically more into IT related software development where as Computer science covers a broad spectrum of programming and computer hardware.

IT will have topics like Network, web programming, server administration, SQL etc.

Where as, CS will contain IT and also Microcontroller and microprocessors programming, compiler design and some extents of electronics as well.
