tag stands for subscript and tag stands for superscript. subscript is like a base and superscript is like a power

I am just learning html in college and working on my first site. I've used site builders in the past but this is my first one from scratch. I think my favorite html tag is <div> although I struggle with it. <div> confuses me a bit but I enjoy what I'm doing and trying to improve every day.

The tag defines superscript text. Superscript text appears half a character above the normal line, and is sometimes rendered in a smaller font. Superscript text can be used for footnotes, like WWW[1]. The tag defines subscript text. Subscript text appears half a character below the normal line, and is sometimes rendered in a smaller font. Subscript text can be used for chemical formulas, like H2O. note : well sololearn didn't support .
