It depends on your personal learning style and how much time you are willing to put into it. I have completed the Java course and it has taken quite a bit of time for me to learn some of the concepts. Java is also a difficult language to start with if you are unexperienced in programming logic. A great language to start with would be Python. Yet I started with Java and learned it just fine. It may have taken longer but it is possible. Good luck on your journey!

if its your first language then 1 year (thats what it took me)
