Even if I don't add a 'return' statement, the program still runs and gives same output. Can anyone pl explain the difference?

How is it possible for document.write (1 + "<br/>") ; gives 1 and a line break and while document.write(1 + <br/>) doesn't.i don't understand the concept because it only understands the string..someone please help am confused

I've been trying to make first example program work for about an hour now and I've re-typed it multiple times but it still gives me the same error
ExampleProgram.java:3: error: cannot find symbol
System.out.printIn("Hello World");
And the arrow is pointing at the period (.) after out. Anyone can help me?

I made an abstract class and three subclasses of that class.When I override toString method, I want to return the values of variable of subclass(from toString method) and not the superclass.But it gives the value of superclass.What to do??

I dont unserstand the output if this code :

msg = "Numbers: {0} {0} {2}". format(nums[0], nums[1], nums[2])
print(msg)
4 4 6
but when I do :
# string formatting
nums = [4, 5, 6]
msg = "Numbers: {0} {0} {2}". format(nums[1], nums[1], nums[2])
print(msg)
it gives me
5 5 6
is there a priority in the Reading ?
