Does perl programming language worth it or not?
Perl is a very easy programming language to learn, as well as Python, it's present by default on Linux platforms, and of course works on windows too, plays well with other languages, and is very supported, which are great reasons apart from it's robustness that is increasingly on demand, specially on automation projects, but very few people talk about Perl despite it's qualities, Why?

Lol, ok Ahri, thats one way to put it, it's old, but so is C++, and some other still used and beloved languages. Perl can be flexible or "strict" (literally), which is another advantage for it, and yeah, the new version may not be popular (obviously, not many people talk about it), but again, why is it so underrated?, specially when many automation efforts use Perl heavily.

Perl has a bizarre syntax that put people off. This is a shame because it is otherwise very powerful.
It can do anything that python does, and for regular expressions and pattern matching is vastly superior(faster) to most languages (except C/C++)
Quite handy as a system level scripting tool too (instead of shell scripting).

Ahri Fox actually Pyhon and Perl were created pretty much at the same time.
