Is Pithon useful?

Hi guys, im new in the programming world and noticed that the greatest part of tutorials for beginners use pithon. is it actually useful in professional world or it is just a language to get used to coding logic?

depends what you mean by useful. most programming languages are used somewhere. Python though is more used for Web and science, because apparently nobody has proven that it can be used for other things (games?). if you want the most bang for your buck, C++ or Java has the widest use i think. but both are quite complicated, especially C++. in my opinion, python is more to get a taste of what fun programming could be like, c++ is what real programming IS like most of the time.
