If you win against me you take 32-28xp, buy if I win I only get 6xp total(1xp for win, 5xp bonus).That's because I'm level 16 and you 14.Who is higher level earns less because has more probability to win against a lower level.They call this Elo Rating.

These challenges really help when you are coding.
