What codes are appropriate to post?

I'm working through "The C Programming Language" (2nd edition) by Kernighan and Ritchie. First, yay! I feel happy about my decision to get comfortable with C before working with any other languages. Not the most popular move, but I think the best one FOR ME. I'm using Code Playground to do the exercises. Should I keep them private? Just not sure what best practices are for posting public codes that are based in exercises from another source. I figure ... no harm ... but just wanted to make sure.

Hi JMQ, It should be acceptable as long as you attribute the correct credits to the book. A link to the books store front would also help people who found the samples useful.
