How fast you learn a language depends upon yourself.
If you want theoretical knowledge only you can obtain fastly.

But if you are learning Java for solving problems you want to try find out easy solution that have already solved.

Don't give up .
when you start programming you may resulting in many errors.Don't sad about that. All of the good coders have make many errors in their starting phase, Making error is not a problem.

Read more Java textbooks on the Internet.
Believe you can do it.
Create problems and try to solve it yourself.
Watch Java for Beginners on youtube and ask question on Sololearn.
I am still learning too.
