It depends on how much time and effort you put into it. But it does take quite a while.

@Jakob Marley Why so much sarcasm? I can’t find one of your posts that was not filled with it. 😂

@Jax Simply who I am as a person, and I don't like to misrepresent myself. It's better for me to take a light-hearted approach instead saying what I'm actually thinking. ;) For example (lol), I could have said... "Seriously? How long do you think it'll take, especially if you're here distracted instead of being focused on your studies like you should be? If you aren't consistent enough, then it'll take you forever... or never. You're old enough to post here and ask us questions, so you're also old enough to be able to assess your ability to learn something. Just like all subjects, you have to consistently study them and practice them, and then one day you'll be good at it. So just like when you're in school, you don't learn math for a week and then you're done, you learn it the ENTIRE time you're in school. The learning process is lengthy and it'll be a long time before you master any of the languages. As mentioned above though, you need to take your studies seriously and stop goofing around. 'How long will it take' shouldn't even be a question that you're asking because you're timing your learning and trying to force it to happen quicker, rather than taking the time to properly learn and apply what you're learning. Don't focus on the process, focus on the end result and keep pushing until you're there. The reality also is that some people are smarter than others, so everyone has their own pace that works best for them - figure out your pace and keep pacing forward." See what I mean, Jax? Instead of typing out a novel and talking to him like I'm his Dad, I took the light-hearted approach of saying the exact same thing in less words. Just like you understood I was being sarcastic, he'll realize that also (hopefully) and be like "Ah... no one can tell me how long it'll take ME to learn anything. I get it....what a sarcastic a-hole he is though." lol If you guys hadn't already answered him, I would have typed out a lengthy response like I was his dad. :D
