what do you love most about programming?

I like thinking how to solve a problem, the process of putting it into code (which hopefully gets better as my skills slowly improve), and, after some failed runs of the code (complete with debugging), finally, obtaining a successful version of the code.

Then I step back and marvel at the project. That gives me motivation to keep going.

(I also appreciate all the help from friends at soloLearn and elsewhere.)
