Down in the dumps (HELP)?
So i was doing pretty good with my learning that was 3 weeks ago, due to current life struggles i find it hard to focus on achieving and believing in my dream to become a Web Developer, i havent even touched my laptop since February 3 now i feel like i wasted so much time that i cant continue 😥, just feel like i cant do it, that its time to give up, but i know in my heart that this is what i want to do. Fight between the mind and heart.

Well, reminds me of how Bennett Foddy quoted his words in Getting Over It:
"... Starting over can be harder than starting up... "
Except that hey, you're not starting over. You may feel as if you've forgotten all that you've learned due to nearly one month of hiatus, but as you go through the course/slides again, you'll realise that what has been written there is much more familiar to you as compared to your first go. Studies have shown that taking a break from a particular subject and then resuming it later on, is as effective, if not better, as compared to uninterrupted learning.
All you have to do is hop back in. If you're the real deal, I doubt it'd take more than a few hours to get back to form.

The things you really learn are not forgotten, so with a little review I'm sure you can continue with what you have already learned.
And do not pay so much attention to time. It has not been that long, so do not get discouraged. And even if it had been a long time the truth is that it is never too late to continue with something that makes us happy or that we want. So my advice is to solve the inconveniences that you may have and then focus on what you want.
If you are worried about losing practice, you can resume a project that you have already started and set a new goal periodically. Something like making a small change weekly would be fine, that way you have constant contact with the activity.
Good luck!

You can easily use it on your mobile phone, download from Google Play store and use whenever you get time.

Hi Whitney. it seems like life can get in the way of what we want to do sometimes. But I find that what I have to do is ask myself, "do I want to be in control? or do I want to let the random circumstances that occur dictate the outcome of my future?" for myself, I decided to be in control and took charge of every situation that was within my control to effect change in the direction I wanted it to go. This included taking charge of my emotions - just because I felt overwhelmed didn't mean that I couldn't do something about it. sometimes you can only take baby steps, but when you take enough of them you'll find you have come quite far.
now, aside from the life lesson above, I suggest as was mentioned by someone else that you download the sololearn app on your phone. You can do short little lessons when you have quiet time by yourself very easily that way. (you'll be surprised how much you can accomplish sitting in the bathroom.)
