i made up a web site for my html certificate and i have a problem with an animation

Question

My website is an informative website about web designing and web graphics. I want to make a gallery which shows some pictures, and for each picture i wanted to have a text over it while hovering with your mouse. I've tried several methods and none of them offered me the proper solution without modifying the whole page or broke it up. Has anyone a propper solution?
