Why should one go for Java?

Despite having too many programming languages what's the point of choosing java over other languages.

Well, Java is well known for being like clothes that are "one size fits all", but with its programs. The great thing about using Java is that it allows you to only create one program and port it to any device that supports Java without having to create a new program for that specific device. Furthermore, it's object oriented, which is practically a must in languages these days, and billions of people already have Java installed onto their computers, meaning billions of people will be able to use and run your program. Also, Android Studio (an IDE used for developing apps for any Android device) mainly uses Java as one of its primary languages next to Kotlin. Because of this, Java would be useful to know if you want to get into app development for Android. Hope this helped!
