Making robot

which language is suitable for robots design in the software part hardware part is almost near to complete what language I have to adopt for robot it shot perform as a human, and also robot itself process the data and it filters the unwanted data . is there is any possibility for built the software filters for uploading to robots plz help me

first, you decide what can your robot do, what problems it will solve and how complicated it would be. second, you pick the set of hardware capable of all the functions you need. second-and-a-half, you choose a platform that can run this whole system. or platforms. next, from a list of programming capabilities of this platform you choose a language that fits the most (or languages. or your favourite language if it is there and capable of what you need).

tq for the response I give one example, in my application , the robot want to go nearly 100to 150 meter distance then it rises the hand and it touches the container and there is sensor I am mounted on the robot .sensor may be temp.. pressures, content of gas that is gas sensor ..etc when it senses the condition this data send to the brain of the robot . then it have to take corresponding controller action . some times the container is in one plase and controlling center is for away from the container and also some times the temp.. maintained is nearly 1000°C to 1500°C human interface is not at all possible 100% Mounting the sensor is also cause some other problems (like if it mount power consumption by the sensor is more and also problems in efficiency, transmitting the continuos data for long distance is difficulty , if use control itself near to contineer may not with stand at that condition and system may not stable for a long time ) plz any one share any information about robots may be hardware part and software part

http://www.instructables.com/ is good for getting info about robotics.

i think any language you can write is fine ; lower level languages hard to code but they will work fast like c/c++ but if you want faster use assembler which means machine code. But if you use c# / java or even any object oriented language may work well cause it is easy to write. ofcourse low level languages needs less hardware requirements while upper levels may ask for more ram and cpu. but in any case instead of loosing time and effort for learning a new language use the language you allready know and compile it. i can suggest you hardwares from 25$ which you can run even windows on them who knows it may let you use php for your project.

@Hans Lego Robotics is a good start but you can follow this link : http://bfy.tw/9zyw @Aditya do not waste time for language in your project any language can read sensors and write to sensors will help. But as far as i can understand from your project you MUST have auto self recover mode which will let your robot bring itself to starting point ; it is the key ! also if i were you i would fork at github

c/c++ through arduino would be good. But if you want some serious artificial intelligence in your robot then going with python or tensor flow would also be a good idea.

nice approach for industrial applications Aditya. that's good but I want to know which hardware interfacing language you know , and also I want to know software you are comfortable . we can suggest one language and you can use it .It is not a problem but if you have some problems in robot in the implementation time or instillation time then you have to analyze s/w program and algorithms very effectively . so you have to specific in any of the robots part in simulation time and installations time but anyway I appreciate your concept and idea

Python is easier than c++, so I would take python. Did I understand you right, youre robot have to work in areas where it is about 1000 up to 1500° C warm? If yes you need a very good cooling system, the most microcontrollers or there CPU will break at about 80°C! And if yes it also have to be explosion secure. So you youre roboter have to be secure that no gas can come inside. Because the power of the microcontroller can maybe enough to explo. If you work in this area you may can work with radio waves which strong enough to reach youre 150 Meter better if the signal is stronger. May you can work per WiFi or Bluetooth but I think they can't reach these distanz if it have to be compact and it is more vulnurbel. It is an very interesting project :). I only know that you can per Python controll all it, and if you have a microcontroller like a raspberry pi or banana pi you can build a server with radio receiver in combination with a webserver you have a webbased GUI where you can get all details, which gas, distanz to container, which position youre roboter arm have and a lot of more details. About this you can send youre roboter commands, but then the roboter need a radio waves receiver and youre Server a radio waves transmitter. I only know that Python can do all that.
