How can I become a better programmer?

Since my sophomore year I had an interest in becoming a programmer. I went to websites, such as: Code academy and W3schools. By going to these websites, I learned about HTML, XML, CSS, and JavaScript. I taken upon myself to take notes on these languages to understand them. Every time I attempt to program, I freeze up. I know the information but I don’t how to set it up correctly. Additionally, I have been busy with high school that limited my time on studying coding. Do you have any advice for me 🤕

Start small. Practice a lot. And remember school does come before coding. I’m 14 so I know, but you will find time for anything you love.
