How to predict number of points deducted for loss in accepted challenge.

Question

Suppose I accept a challenge worth 2pts if won, how can I assume that I'll be deducted 32pts for losing. It really warms me up seeing this happen.

The basic rule is it's X for winning or X-32 for losing (and vice versa for your opponent) + bonus for good answers. Overall, it can happen that even if you lose, you might still get a positive xp yield on good answers, if playing versus a highly experienced player.
