What are the Optimal PC brands, Specifications for long-term programming success?

Hi guys, help me out. I'm about to buy a new laptop. I value portability since I will be moving around a lot. Would smaller screens like 11.6" affect me in any coding language? What other specs or even brands should I look out out for, to ensure optimal running of all codes. thanks

Generally every coding language works on every device. It just depends on which OS you use because some languages and libraries wont work on every OS, though even this happens very rarely and won't restrict you. The screen size doesn't matter, a larger display is more lucid, but less portable. All other specs just depend on your personal preferences.
