What exactly I can do with only HTML5?

Please if you're an experienced developer give me some ideas or examples. Is it worth to dig deeper in this basic soil? Can I make something that will satisfy me and can be useful to impress byers and win some project.Thanks:-)

If you want to be satistified with simple projects, then you can use HTML5+CSS3 to design websites.

With only HTML a website wouldn't look good. everything would just look messy and almost un-readable

(not sure if I understood your question tho...)
