What's the easiest way to remember code?

I am just beginning and now I've made it to HTML5 but I am a little discouraged. I take loads of notes.

Practicing!

Its really hard if its the first time you write "code", but after a few tries and excercises, you will find yourself more confortable.

Notes are really good! Keep taking it, and remember comenting your codes

Pratice, make things into a muscle memory. Doesnt have to be boring practices of repeating lessons. Can be as simple as making a webpage for fun.
Relating what you have learn to your everyday life is also one good trick to memorise/memorize things easily.

repetition. Just keep doing what you are doing. it will sink in eventually. I still look things up. all the time. you can't remember everything.

Also, remember it as something else. For <p> , maybe you could remember it as "I gotta' go pee!"
