iamawesome ! PHP outputs HTML, in a file with extension .php you have PHP code. But, if you put HTML code in it it will print it out when requested. I good book that explains PHP very well is 'PHP and MySQL: The Missing Manual' You can do a google search using the following criteria: PHP and MySQ the missing manual filetype: pdf to find the book for free download. Enjoy ; )

iamawesome ! I don't know JSP, but a quick search showed me that it is uses the Java programming language. I would say that for someone that is just starting in backend programming, PHP is easier. But again, I never used JSP, ... but I used Java and PHP and that's why I suggest PHP for a beginner.

Ulisses Cruz Do I need to just specify <? php /> in html form.... or do I have to create a full page made out of php only... watching youtube video, don't know in index.php page there were html attributes also, suddenly in loginsys.php page there were code made out of only php, no sign of html...
