Does anyone know about password on a global networks

Question

Passwords. how it works. I think it take 2 seconds for finding it for hackers. can it be fully provided with power protection.

Hackers aren't able to obtain your password in a matter of seconds, unless they're able to trick you into giving it to them in a matter of seconds. And as Jan mentioned, what they require to do so, chances are they don't want YOUR password to extent that they would waste that type of effort/time on you. Again, it's much easier and quicker to trick you than it is to obtain it through fancy means.

For example, I could create a website real fast that stores passwords into my database without encrypting them; store it as plain text. Then I could show back up here and tell you that I have a website which can teach you how to hack passwords in just 2 seconds. You would be like "Oh wow, really? What's the link?" and then I would have you go to my site & register. Now I have your password in plain text. Most people use the exact same password for nearly everything, so now I have your commonly used password and I also have your main email address that you use when registering on websites. Chances are that your email password is also the same. Now I have access to most of your accounts online, which may include banking, etc... and if it works on your email account too, I also have the means of resetting your password on accounts I can't access.

Anyways, as you can see, I could more effectively "hack" you by tricking you than by trying to show boat my ability to force my way in. Force is rarely needed; psychology is so much more important.

lol Just old habits from the past speaking. In my early teen years, I played around with all kinds of stuff as I was really branching out with my learning of technology. Combine that interest with a love for some of the movies back then, such as Hackers, which glorified hacking, and you have the perfect situation to end up on the wrong end. However, it was only for fun/learning purposes, so I drifted in the direction of security instead. Being malicious is a waste of talent in my opinion. These days I focus solely upon creative programming and prefer creating things for others to enjoy instead.

And yeah, same here. I have a different password for each and every account I have. lol Formed that habit back then also, especially after realizing that most people don't and what type of situation that puts one in potentially.
