How to make a free website that is open to the world

i know how to make a simple website in html but it isn't open to the world

to host website on your computer you would need a static IP which is unlikely to happen as ISPs like to charge a lot more for that. You would also either need to open your connection to the public (stupid bad) or learn how to manage your router as a firewall with port forwarding etc to protect yourself. You also need to have enough bandwidth and data. In other words... don't. Find a hosting company. There are free ones out there.

As for domains.... you womt get a domain for free but you can get ugly looking subdomain free from some free hosting companies. Because pretty looking domains have to be registered with ICANN and put into the global DNS, there is a registration fee. Godaddy often has 99 cent sales and coupons. And $14 for 2 years is a great deal too.
