Issues with the slash " / "

Question

I write my code to the letter, even copied the example to see if it was a problem with my keys. the console will tell me that in (for instance) " / is missing in line 6" being that I 100% placed a slash in there.

Is it possible that you are forgetting a bit of code in that line? Or, maybe you need a backslash, instead? /and\Are both different. Actually, what language, even?

I'm not sure if JS is supposed to be using {html}{/html} type stuff. Those tags are reserved for HTML.
