Do you experience âimposter syndromeâ as a developer (Using the term lightly)? When is it okay to call yourself a âdeveloperâ?
Itâs hard to distinguish the line between âaspiring developerâ and âdeveloperâ since learning *everything* is impossible. When do/did you first consider yourself a âdeveloperâ? Is it when you acquire a real job in the field? Or do you just say âIâm gonna be a programmer,â learn some code and the basics of a few languages and say âIâm a developer nowâ? It can be really discouraging to hear âwell if you donât know xyz, then youâre not a *real* developer.â Who determines what âxyzâ is? What do you think?
