What would you suggest to do in python right after knowing the basics?

I would like to pursue python in depth. I want to know what should be my approach to understand in depth and I would like to know what are the most key concepts in depth.

Jan Markus suggested a great book.
After going through it try Programming Python of the same author.
It will help you apply Python.
