Why Does the App Make You Retake Portions When Revisiting After Completion

I just completed a lesson. There wasn't a summary at the end, so I thought I'd review myself by just clicking on the lesson. The app treated this as if it wasn't aware I had just completed it, so I couldn't skip a section and then it offered to take XP points just to check a concept.

Update: you can go back and browse through the course without losing xp. Just click on the "play" icons for the lessons and skip the '?', then when you reach the last part in each lesson, don't continue. Go back to the main 'sections' page and choose the next one.
