Line break bug in qpython

Question

Whenever I reach the end of the line in the console of qpython or while getting an input in a script, the automatic return doesn't work. The text somehow get's stuck and I can't backspace to the line before, although I didn't hit enter. That is, the text IS actually erased, but you do not see it on the screen (you find out the hard way later). Does anybody know what this bug is and if you can somehow fix it?

Hm, I just tried Pydroid3 - it does the exact same thing on my smarty! Oo
