PHP or HTML

Which language do you think is probably the best for website development? If you can't decide, which do you prefer personally?

Html and PHP have different roles on web development.
html is used for front end development and PHP is used in back end development and the main point is you can't create websites with only using php but you can with HTML

More interesting question would be JavaScript VS PHP.. But I guess that is a duplicate question.

If you're a complete beginner it's best to learn HTML before PHP.
