Which IDE should i opt for Java ? Eclipse or Netbeans or something else?
just 2 days before I started to learn Java & i am running the programs in my laptop through command prompt. I came across IDE but then I'm not sure about which one to select? can anyone give me suggestions in this?

NetBeans Is OFFICIAL!!
the compatibility and tools of NetBeans are best of than Eclipse because NetBeans was made by Sun System ( Creator of Java Programming Language)

netbeans is more complete and comprehensive from my point of view, because with the basic installation you can start programming, instead eclipse you have to install the specific plugins for each language you go to program, also, this personal comment.

Eclipse or if you have Android in mind Android Studio. With Eclipse you get familiar with an IDE which you can also use for other programming languages. Installing the java plugin is straight forward.

Intellij Idea is perfect for java se & ee since it is easy to learn with excellent keyboard shortcuts and has marvelous gui, it comes in two versions the free edition (Community Edition), and the paid edition (ultimate edition).

IntelliJ idea is great for Java, it's quite easy to use plus it comes with many cool features. IntelliJ also supports Kotlin and Android development.^_^
