File mystery with qpython3

Alright, this is strange. I connected my smartphone to my computer and tried to drag and drop some py-files to the pc. For some reason, some of the files were not there, when I looked into the smarty folder from windows, but from the smarty I could still normally access them. So I tried to send the files via e-mail. It worked, but when I accessed the files on the pc, some of the text in it had magically disappeared. Alright, so I did stuff with the files on my pc and moved one of them back to the smarty. For whatever reason, although the file was clearly in the folder - when I tried to access it from a script, I was told that 'that file doesn' t exist'. So... *sigh* I randomly opened the file with qpython and saved it, and suddenly it can be found again (or part of it, we'll see). So does anybody have any idea what the hell is happening?

Assuming "smarty" == Smarty, the UK mobile provider (so, the mobile phone), I can think of lots rabbits to chase* Here's one: https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/46315/not-all-files-are-visible-over-mtp#46321 * None of them clearly programming issues, unfortunately. You might need to pursue this question on the StackExchange network (lots of forums, including one for Android).
