which is best for problem solving Java or Python??

I'm starting course for problem solving for logic error so I'm confused which language, I choose for my course. which language is better for this purpose because I'm new to both languages.

Python may be the best in my POV for logic and science programming but java is most suitable for mobile applications development

All languages are capable of problem solving. It all depends on what you want to accomplish with said language.

Take your time and do some research on both and find out what the pros and cons to each are.

I find that python is easy to write and read in comparison to java so I choosed python for my problem solving course.
