You cant,php already processes before you can even see it.
You can use $_get[] or $_post to collect html forms or perhaps some ajax or json way to receive it through js.
In all,theres no input() method in php

use input method depends on how your form is being submitted. if form type is post the use $_POST and if its get method then use $_GET
