Can I use both PHP and RoR in a single website?

Actually I am developing a Social Media website and I found that the posting mechanism is way easier with RoR (Ruby on Rails) but I have already developed the login mechanism with PHP. So it there any way I can use RoR on the same server? Or I just need to continue with PHP. Maybe This is not a good platform for such a complex/stupid/idiot question but I am just confused.
