IMO, there seem to be *three* major trends in using a version of ANYTHING; 1), using the latest-and-greatest version, 2), using the last stable version, and 3), relying upon whatever version you/company has already installed *regardless* of how old it is and *regardless* of the availability of categories 1) and 2)!
According to the main python.org downloads site https://www.python.org/downloads/ , Python v.3.5.1 was released back in 2015-12-07 and the latest stable version category 2) in the 3.5.x-series was the v.3.5.5 release on 2018-02-05. So the Python v.3.5.1 learned here is most *definitely* category 3).
Supposedly, Sololearn could use the latest-and-greatest category 1) Python v.3.6.5 if it wanted to be fully up-to-date, according to the same current python.org downloads site https://www.python.org/downloads
