There are no 'most' useful in gobal terms. If in personal terms, its C#/C++ for me as well as Haskell(which is what I am learning right now)

What have you meant saying "most useful language"? Programming is a whole Universe, which provides a variety of ready solutions for various tasks. We can judge languages only by their popularity, and nowadays according to the statistics, Java and C# are the most popular programming languages. Both Java and C# have a lot of useful features that allow to perform the tasks of high complexity. Which language is more useful? The answer depends on a certain project you work on. Have a look at this great article which explains in details what are the main differencies between Java and C#, and which language should be selected for a definite task. http://computoolsglobal.com/blog/java-vs-c/
