A x86 microprocessor ables to handle 32 bit data at a single time able to process it and produce valuable information. Where as x64 microprocessor handles 64 bits of data at a single time and able to produce information.
Hence, x64 is more powerful than x86 microprocessor as it handles 64 bits at single time.

Actually x86 has nothing to do with number of bits, only Microsoft says it is 32 bit because that was the processor available back then. It just means the processor has x86 architecture, which was the ending name of intel processors like 8086 and several others in the same family. x64 was popularized by Microsoft. Incidentally, microsoft used 64 bit CPU and decided to name 64 bit Windows version as x64. But there are 64 bit x86 processors as well. So x86 is the processor architecture introduced by Intel. x64 has nothing to do with Intel. Architecturally, my laptop CPU is 64 bit, but is of x86 processor family.
