Are these signs ('/' and '\') same in HTML?

Please tell me also what is the other sign pronounced as (other than slash).

No, these symbols aren't the same in HTML. The '/' symbol is called slash. The '\' symbol is called backslash. The backslash isn't used in HTML at all.

The other one is called a backslash. And no, I don't think they are the same.

/ is used for closing tags like </p>. And \ is used for newline like \n. Hope this helps☺️☺️.
