Internship company want me to learn dot net
I email a company that I'm starting my internship, and they ask if I know about dot net... I'm guessing they want me to learn that but what do they actually mean? do they mean VB, ASP or other language?

Congratulations on your internship. It must feel good to get started a new career path.
You should get in touch with the company and get some clarification on what they want form There is no need to start your internship under a cloud of confusion.

sorry for the late response.
Thank you for your answer. I guess I will study C# since it is provided in sololearn and also ASP.net since seeing their previous history they are more involve in website development. luckily, I have studied JavaScript before.
I am not able to contact them since it is holiday and I don't think it is appropriate to text them during holiday.
Thank you for your response

Learning straight from the source will never hurt you.

.Net is Microsoft's framework, which means all the programming languages found in Visual Studio can be used in the same project and can call each other through "MSIL" (Microsoft Intermediate Language), so yeah, they may mean for you to learn a particular language like C#, which is the most popular multi purpose language, but you could be learning Javascript or anyother, what matters is how you take advantage of the framework to make them work together. Good luck Muhd.
