How do you do it?

I always wanted to learn java but it always changes so I have to constantly learn it again and I just want to learn it without all of those compilations.

Being a professional programmer requires you to be adaptable. This field is very young, and changes often. Having a solid conceptual understanding of a language is much more important than trying to be a walking encyclopedia. Learn how to utilize Google, Stack Overflow, GitHub, etc. If you understand what needs to happen, the internet will provide you with the details.

Tell me about it! I've learned BorlandC++ 20 years ago, I've used it that way for 15 years in Visual Studio, and if I look at a program written in C++ now it looks nothing like the C++ syntax I knew.
