Increase the size of a photograph to boost its resolution, then make sure it has the best pixel density. Although the image is larger, it may appear less sharp than the original. You'll notice a difference in sharpness as you increase the size of an image. PPI stands for Pixels Per Inch and is a measurement of a digital image's printing size. The higher the pixel density per inch, the better the printing quality; yet, 300 PPI is adequate for high-quality printing. At 150 PPI, 300x300 pixels are printed. An iCreativeSOL poster of 22 inches is still too small.

does a .jpg file help with sizing 2 different pictures to fit in a box(displayed on webpage) proportionally? ex: creating a slideshow and one picture is huge then then other picture slides in frame and looks normal/fine.
